OK, I can get brembo rotors for front and rear right and left on my car that arre cross drilled and slotted for 190 bucks

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=601949423&r=0&t=0

I have heard that the cross druilled can crack, is this very common though? and is it aftre alot of wear or is it just that they are weak and can break like right away?

its more common to see cracking in cheap brake kits...brembo is the top of the line for the most part, and i wouldnt expect them to crack right away, or at all in the future.

ok, I hope not, is there a definite difference in braknig between the stock and the brembo slotted/cross-drilled rotors? will I be able to notice it.

the cross drilling, and slotting aren't really for brake power, they more or less prevent brake fade by keeping everything cooler. the diamter of the brake disc is what matters, what size are they? if you want to, IM me on AIM at "mustang43084" to talk about it....this is slow.lol

well, i dotn got AIM, got YIM and MSN,

both are maddmatt02

and I dont really use my brakes much to rreally worrry about that kind of heat now, but with my new car i will probably be slowing down from in the hundreds more, so i might have to worry now. how long does it take under extreme brakeing for the stock rotors ton get too hot to work properly. will stopping from about 130+ be a long enough stop to require better rotors?

You should really try to stop more often :)
As far as drilled and slotted rotors are concerned...
as someone stated earlier, they help with cooling but the other benifits are they weigh less (less unsprung weight then standard rotors), less rotating mass (which makes the wheels have more mass in a sense, feels like more mass at least), and they are less likely to warp due to the structural rigidity from the hollowed centers.

ok,well, I am pretty sure I am gonna get them towards the end of the month if the guy can get another shipment or whatever, he sold 6 of the 7 sets on auction last time. but I am also waiting to do this, because when i do it I am removing my calipers completely, and painting them, getting some new pads also. and I need my car to often these days to be without the calipers for a while and no time to bleed them when i get em on so it has to wait
