I feel like an idiot right now. I got a ticket for goin 63 in a 45. Ive always driven down Capital Blvd thinking it was a 55 zone, if I knew it was a 45 I wouldnt have been goin that fast. On the way home I looked for any signs that said 45, I only counted one in a 10-15 minute drive back. I just wish there was some loophole that would get it dropped, but I dont think there is one. Now I want to sell my car and get a honda.

Almost all states have a statute that specifies the speed limit for various areas. Rural, urban, residential will have a maximum speed limit set by law and the posting of speed limit signs is not required. This can be found in your state's drivers handbook and you are expected to know them.
Post your state and the statute number of the violation and I might be able to give you some general advice.

you might want to bring that up in court. it shouldn't get you off unless the judge is in a REALLy good mood, but just tell him that it's not very well marked
