ABS and Brake Light- 98 durango

Any help appreciated.
Abs and Brake light come on occasionally and are driving me insane. If I shut off engine and restart, the lights will clear. I cannot find any regular pattern for when the problem occurs and there are no codes present. I have noticed alot of discussion regarding the rear axle speed sensor and I think I will replace this in hopes of fixing the problem but this seems to be associated with an erratic speedometer/odometer as well as the ABS/Brake lamp. I do not have any unusual noise emitting from the ABS pump or control area and I have no braking problems (other than normal).

NAPA part # for the rear speed sensor is- United Parts #530778. This is not a normally stocked item so you will have to wait a few days.
