I got my 93' 240sx KA24DE a few months ago and decide to start modding it little by little as budget sees fit. So far some of the stuff on the list is N1 APEXi exhaust, AEM short-ram intake, NGK iridium wires and spark plugs, Tein Drift Spec coilovers, and maybe turbo it has I've had my KA24 engine completely rebuilt and stronger internals. I was wondering if anyone has done any of these mods so far and how it was like compared to stock or if anyone has any suggestions. ^_^

I'm new here but i'm going to post more around AF and about my modding and tickets (hopefully not) lol. Sorry if I sound a bit newbish rite now. thanks

God Choice on Exhaust but if I were you Id shy away form the big brand intake of AEM ive heard so many bad reports... Like filter is crap(falls apart and deteriates fast) and the neck that holds the Filter breaks too.

if you have stronger internals you should diffinately finish a turbo setup otherwise theres no point having the stronger internals. Plus if you have lower compresion pistons, rods you'l make less N/A power

I was gonna mention the pistons too.

I dunno about the intake though. I havent really heard that many reports on AEM That were bad. Same with Injen. I would kind of see that as I try to get parts from companies that specialize in that certain part instead of 100 different parts(Aside from Nismo of course) just because they focus on improving that one part and not releasing new parts for other makes/models.

go to Carreviews.com they have reviews on almost every part out there... just search AEM in the top and read the reviews away almost 60% of reviews on AEm say crap about the Filter and/or neck breaking.
