I have a 351w ho. I would like to run efi, is there a better brand of upper and lower intake, or is it just personal opinion. Or would I be better off getting a used stock lower from a junkyard?

(The motor is from a carb'd bronco, and I'll be putting it in an 89 hatch that had a 302) Thx!!!

so far I,m leaning towards the trick flow street intake decent Hp gain and good price. i 'm pretty sure they make it for the 351

The stock 351EFI truck lower is actually a nice piece and many aftermarket pieces were based on it in the beginning. A stock 351EFI truck lower with some basic home porting is a very stout piece.

so it would be a good way to save some money then....ive never ported anything before, is it something I can give a try, or be better off going to a machine shop?

do ya'll have an idea of what a good price would be to port the lower intake?

i would look at some aftermarket intakes like trickflow and edelbrock there not to pricey and give some performance gains...
