I've searced and searched and found some answers for the Turbo, but not for NT, on how to install a A/F Gauge on Eclipse/Talon. I just bought the gauge today and havent even tried yet (just trying to find instructions.) I found this:

Does this work with Non tubo also? If not, where does everything go, or where can I get site. Cant find anything anywhere. Thanks a mil!!

I doubt that the ECUs are identical for the turbo and NT eclipses. I may be wrong, but if I were you I would search 2gnt.com for "ecu diagram" or "ecu pinout". Then you would tap the same wire connections for each connection.

^^above is the ecu pinout you're looking for ;)

So I would just hook the wires up to the front O2 sensor, and then hook the power up to the 12v? Is that all? I dont want anything to go wrong here. Thanks

You should have 3 wires on your AF gauge: power, ground, and o2 signal. You do NOT wire the gauge itself directly to the o2 sensor. Instead, you use a "wire tap clip" to tap the o2 wire from the o2 gauge into the wire coming out of your ecu pin that is labeled "o2 signal" or the like, which can be found on the diagram I linked you to.

I believe I found power for my o2 gauge from the wires behind the cigarette lighter. As for a ground, I don't remember what exactly I used...there should be ground wires labeled on the ecu that you can tap the gauge wire into, or if you find a non-painted metal part of the car's frame, that would also suffice for a ground.

I hooked it up last nite to my cig lighter. APC has this "inverter" thingy that comes with too. Everything was connected (i Think) right. All except for the green o2 wire. Not sure where the ECU conenctor piece is. I thought it was behind the radio. Where exactly is it on the NT Talon?

Gauge itself does look good all lite up, and the car reading both lean and rich!

Thanks

OK, Im an idiot. I finally realized that the ECU is IN the engine compartment. Got it all hooked up and works and looks like a charm. (Note: The diagram on the linked page is backward. The numbers are reverse. #48, was actually #8)

Anywho, now a question. When driving, the meter goes up and down. Reads slightly rich when on gas, lean when slowing down (braking, downshifting), and perfect at idle. Is this normal? Should it be rich when accelerating??

Whats a Wideband o2 sensor?

it gives a # to the reading. the 'narrowband' is just an interpretation of the signal sent to a light to give you look thru a straw at what the o2 sensor is reading. it should be reminiscint of 'night rider'
