*I have a 93 mustang*
So my driver side power window is out and my passenger side is only controllable from the driver side. I'm trying to figure out if its wiring or motor trouble, obviously the passenger side isnt motor trouble and aren't as worried with that as im more concerned about getting driver side working first. So basically I have a few questions which I hope can help me determine the problem.
First off, how many fuses are there for the power windows? Just 1? or all 4 have 1? And where exactly are they, my manual just says starter motor relay.
Also, do the back windows(lil triangle 1s) have a seperate motor? Because they both still work.
Another question, I borrowed a multimeter from a friend but I'm not exactly where/how to test it. I saw on this 1 automotive show and they were plugging it into the harnesses and stuff but like the only harness that I see is the one that's connected to the switch, so how would I go about seeing if the switch is giving out power or not, what do I touch with what basically.
I've taken off my door panel and I've noticed a red wire at the bottom of the switch, behind the lock window button has broken off, is that wire only for the lock window or does it need to be connected?
=\ Sorry I have so many questions, in the process of trying to learn stuff and don't want to buy a used power window motor if that's not even the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im not sure if you have heard of it but there is a test light called a power probe . The difference is that this will hook up to the power and ground of you battery or cig lighter and has a 20 ft cord. So this allows you to check powers or ground without switching connections . It will also allow you to apply power or ground at the push of a button. once you use it you ll never want to be without it . Now in this case you could check to see if it is you motor or the switch itself. because the pass window switch gets its power from the drivers switch it could be a wire . the power probe goes for about 95 bucks for the whole kit and about 50 for just the power probe alone .
