Where can I find Kick Panels for my CRX?

I need some kick panels for my CRX 'cause my speakers won't fit in the doors. Anyone know where I can find a pair? I've looked everywhere, even this canadian company had them, when I paid them they had to refund me because they no longer sold them.

Ask Ami about it... I think she said Jer was custom fabbing them for peeps.

Mine wouldnt fit either, would hit the glass, I made a 3/4" MDF spacer and it fixed it. When I get my Blapunkt components I'm taking my speaker covers from the door pannel and using it as a frame for a pod that will fir in space the cover goes now and angle the speaker up tward me for better soundstage (why the hell do the speakers point down anyway?). I had thought about kick pannels but I like to put my foot their.

Blapunkt? why would you get that brand pretty low end brand for after market....evennnn though they come stock in porces i think but still...need help on picking some equiptment out let me know i get a friend to feed you on any info you need chamber

yeah, the kappa's are very nice, buddy of mine has four kappa 5x7's w/cross overs in his 01 f150. Very good sound.

Im JL audio all the way.......They have a kick ass component system! But if i didnt want to spend and arm and a leg for some nice sound id say Coustic Audio has really good sound...Almost as good as JL but about a hundred and twenty dollars cheaper!

yea i did too. lol 2 ways, i used to work at future shop. i think thats best buy in the states. as well as me and my friend sold it privately

he made a sub enclosure for gta too but it is much smaller. so small that when we recently went to a car show people would say "i see an amp...wheres the sub?" and they were serious :grinno:

that top pic is like what I'm doing, except my tweeter is mounted in it also. I'm mounting my rear 6.5's on the headliner.

grab you some fiberglass and make some. Or spend a rediculus price for some premade ones.

we can make some kick pods just as easy as the door pods and rear enclosures

ami you guys need to make some seat brakcets for racing seats. for us 4th gen guys. i would buy a set from you if you did!

Any plans on making something for rear dash to accomodate us 4G4D'ers? I've got a set of Polk 6x9's in the back, but I can't really bolt them down because it interfears with the mechanism of the trunk. I don't really want to lose the use of the mechanism. :/

I wasn't copping an attitude or expecting anything for free, and the :rolleyes: wasn't directed at anyone, I was just talking about how the subjuct of the thread changed. The only bad thing about the ones on car domain is they point straight out just like the factory ones. I just saw some on Xtreme Motorsports, but they don't manufacture them anymore.
