I have a real problem and before I go throwing more money into my '93' Eagle Talon Turbo, can anyone out there give me any idea of what this might be? My car runs fantastic for an old gal. It should, I have spent alot of money just keeping her going. Anyway, just the other night, I am driving and look down at the digital clock numbers on the radio and they are like, surging. Then I take a closer look and I see my headlights doing the same thing. Now I am pretty freaked out. The car was not making any noise whatsoever and it runs and sounds great, other than a little smoke when you sit at a light for awhile. Can anyone give me a heads up on what this might be before I take it in so they don't totally rip me off on repairs. Greatly appreciated.

you might want to have you alternator checked, the voltage regulator might have gone bad.

I'd check your fuses first, that happened to me not too long ago and I assumed it was a bad alternator without even looking at my fuses. If only I had look at the alternator fuse, I coulda saved $120 :)

Good suggestions...you should also try and diagnose the smoke that comes out of your car at lights ;).
