This is a 97 Blazer LT with AWD 110,000miles, i replced the u-joints in rear driveshaft and then re-installed the shaft. I have a pretty severe shaking now at highway speeds. This is a new shaking. I am also leaking fluid where the shaft slides into the transfer case (a bad seal?). I messed up when i pulled the shaft and didn't mark the end at the transfer case. Only marked the end at the axle. So I may have not replaced it the same way i took it out. It is installed in the same position at the axle though. I had removed the front driveshaft months ago because of problems with u-joints and the double cardan joint. I have not been able to find the ball and socket part for the double cardan joint. Since there is no front shaft could this be damaging the t case or tranny?

remember, fluid will come out when you remove the shaft.
Check your fluid levels in all transfer cases.
