Hurricane Ivan

Hurricane Ivan is now coming at us. I live in SW Flordia and tomorrow morning were out of here, leaving for North Carolina. Im really pissed at all these hurricanes. Pray were alright and our house doesn't get destroyed.

damn dude i'm pissed because francis has been dumping its leftovers on us (northwest NY) for the past 2 days. i can only imagine how bad that has to suck to live in FL...hope everything works out alright

Yeah I live in eastern Alabama about 10 miles from the Gulf coast. This is going to suck. :(

With all the hurricanes that are going on, you'd think that they'd be running out of names soon....

And to think there are some folks who will go down to Florida just to say they were in a hurricane. Hope all goes well.

Life imitates art. Seems we are getting a constant screening of "The World After Tomorrow". Florida, Japan, India. Enough already. Mother Nature hasn't been this bad for a while now. Sheesh.

Hope them folks in Florida make it thru this one without much damage. imagine the dealerships with all those miessed up cars. :eek:

I haven't seen rain in like 6 months. How's that for depressing? :frown:Dude, it rained here in the Whittier area yesterday. It was like 100 degrees and still raining. It didn't rain for that long (maybe an hour or two), but still felt pretty damn horrible after. Because of the rain and stuff, the humidity here right now makes everything feel nasty in this heat.

As for the hurricanes...damn, yet another one coming so soon after. Hope everything turns out ok for everyone living in the Florida area.

We were complaining in CT the last few days that we caught a bit of the rain from the last storm (same stuff you guys were getting in n.y.) than we thought about how much it'd suck to be in florida right than, hope you guys make it through especially without getting your cars wrecked. :)

where at in NC are you going? I live in NC and im in the mountains, we got flooded out in the areas around here pretty bad. if this storm comes to NC we will get it a lot worse than we did with Frances

It blows for my bud, he just moved to florida less then 2 months ago, so hes been through two major disasters now.

Wow, I really feel bad for everyone that these hurricanes have affected.

I know that the East Coast has been MAJORLY overdue for a BIG hurricane season, so if I had to guess, we're looking at it.

Well, I finally got back. Thankfully Ivan is turning more west and away from us. It was a waste though, we drove all the way to NC and turned back around. Oh well, got us out of the house for 4 days. :lol:

Where do you live in Wilmington?? I live in Wrightsville Beach if you've heard of it. My grandparents live down in Port Charlotte Florida and Francis destroyed their home... They are ok now though.
