Does anyone have an anti-theft system, not an alarm, but a card that can be removed to prevent anyone from starting your vehicle. I am having problems sometimes starting my 93. It gets power but nothing to the starter, as if the card was removed. I see other people have had starting problems, I am just wondering if mine could be something other than the anti-theft. Any tips would be appreiciated. Thanks

I have a key switch anti-theft on my 93 Cherokee. When activated nothing gets power....
There are several threads here with tips ... check the relays in your power distribution box & also check for poor connections in the box as well. If it will crank but no start I'd also suggest checking the CPS, also called fly wheel sensor, if this is bad it won't send the right messages ton the computer which in turn won't allow a "power up" of the related ignition circuits.
Did you make a check with a multi meter and know for sure the starter is not getting power? Could be bad starter or a coil problem. Try the good ol thump with a hamer on the starter....
Mine acts up more during hot weather... often tapping on the relays or power distribution box solves the problem on mine... haven't had the time to dig into it and find the exact bad spots.
Get as much stuff tested as you can before you start replacing things
Good luck
