:banghead: Could someone maybe help me out and let me know where i'm supposed to hook the green wire running from the back of my tachometer to in my 92 escort. Yeah yeah i know why would i want a tach in an escort, because i just do. So if someone could help me out it'd most appreciatted. Thank You
:repost: Ok, this might be a little easier to answer. Does my 92 escort have a Multiple Spark Discharge ingition system, and if so where is the ignition module? Also, when i find the ignition module will I have a tachometer output? Finally, if none of that works could anyone tell me which wire in my EDIS is the speedometer wire and will it read RPM's from the speedo wire? Will somebody please respond to this post if they know anything about this, it's pissin me off! Thank You!

if your car has no factory tach, notice on the edis plug there is one hole that has no wire going to it...if it were there it would be yellow/blue...
that is the tach signal wire...i think the easiest thing is to grab a plug from a wrecking yard (one with a tach wire) and take it apart and remove the tach wire / pin and simply slip it into the plug on your car...done deal ...as you're standing in front of the car it will be the second wire from the left on the edis plug...also the plugs pop apart very easy...ya' don't have to destroy it to get the wire out...you'll have to pierce the silicone membrane on your plug to slide the tach wire/pin into your plug ...hope this helps.
