when i back up a few feet seems like my rear brakes is on anybody had problem??? 1988 944? :uhoh:

Sticky brakes? Maybe bleed and adjust. Could be time for a change too.

Check your caliper pistons. Maybe a stuck caiper pistons. Also check you ebrake. Maybe the ebrake is not disengaging all the way.

I'd bet on e-brake. Possibly the shoes binding when in reverse. If both the caliper pistons were jammed, you'd feel the same drag going forward.

Sometimes the rear back plate corrode and the spring loaded clips can come off and jam up, if it happens theirs not a lot you can do other than remove them. If you replace them it will only happen again. Replace the arm? no thanks! it works the same without em, only sometimes as a rattle when you go over bumps, because the shoe's are not held down, not a problem tho.
