I working on my front brakes for the first time and am having a devil of time removing the caliper pins on my 96 Thunderbird 6cylinder. The pins defy removal.
I've tried heating them with a torch and of course sprays the are supposed to loosen the pins. Any ideas??
I had the brakes done a couple years ago and wonder if the pins were crossed threaded somehow.

have u tried seeing whether the bolt is a torx or an allen wrench? if its a torx then find the right size that has no play in it...or u will strip it out. get a ratchet and a torch. torch it so its bright orange...not the head of the bolt tho. the threads. and try spinning it out...and also make sure u have the ratchet going the right way. let me know how it works out-Bobby
