my accord will not start.... I have replaced the fuel pump already and a 80 amp fuse under the hood (which i guess was for the battery) and now the car is dead with no power what so ever. I am wondering where the fuel pump relay is for my 95 accord and whether or not it is easier to replace the relay if bad or what. Also my battery now seems dead with now voltage is it possible that there is now a bad cell?

Will it start if jumped? If so, get it started & take it to Autozone or similar. They'll test the battery on the spot (and sell you a new one - and install it free - if needed).

I'm curious - what caused the 80 Amp fuse to go? That only happens with a major short (accompanied by sparks, smoke, fire etc).

Sounds like the 80 amp fuse blew from accidentally touching + and - together with a wrench of something. Not sure where the fuel pump relay comes into this,....One thing at a time. Start with the battery. Do you even have power enough for a light?

if your batt is dead...first replace it. once replaced...check your alternator. if you have a volt meter...check w/ the voltage is from the batt (12-13v). start the car up...see if it jumps up to about 14v...or at least steadily rises from what the initial reading was before starting. if it's not rising...u have a bad alternator. if it's good and you are still having starting issues...try replacing the main relay. this relay is located next to your steering column...behind the driver side panel below the steering wheel.
