No Vacuum

I have a '97 240sx and I'm getting a code on the MAP/BARO sensor, took it to the dealership and they replaced the MAP/BARO switch solenoid but that didn't fix the problem.
I've been looking at the problem on my own and found that there isn't any vacuum before or after the solenoid.
I was wondering is this normal?
