trans fluid

on my 95, 4.3, 5-speed, the owners manual calls for a synthetic fluid that is a dealer item only. is there something out there that is cheaper but just as good? chevy dealer wants $9.95 a quart.

You can buy synthetic tranny fluid at most parts stores for less. If you tell them what your driving they can help you out.
