Is this a must when adding 33s? I mean yeah you'll lose power in 5th but overall things will be okay. Is it really worth the money to do it?

You will loose power in all gears. Also, you will need to figure the difference in speedometer and odomometer readings.
Up to you as to whether it is worth the money or not. If the above differences don't bother you, it's your truck.
