Skid Plate??

Hey does anybody know where to get a skid plate of aluminum or somethin that won't weigh me down. Because my car is lowered about 2 inches and i live in a rural area and it scrapes a lot.....any links or anything??

what is a skid plate? the piece on your exhaust?

i mean, a piece so your exhaust wont skid? i used to have the same problem, eventually tore a hole in the mesh part of my exhaust... i think you will have to just make a custom piece for urs and weld it on, i dont think theres an aftermarket piece like that

i was talkin about a skid plate that covers the whole bottom of the car because i scrape everywhere. lol....my sideskirts are all scraped up on the bottom, my header has a big dent, and so does the oil pan.

haha, that would be money and time consuming... better off raising your car an inch or so

i agree with lurker, it wont do you any good, just make it easer for you to bottom scrape on the ground. Just be smarter when you drive and go over everything on angles one wheel at a time.
