hey just figured id tell u all that i got my exaust work done yesterday. i cut of my cat and got three inch pipes put on to a flow master 80 series then dual 2 and a half inch outs. sounds just how i wanted it to very good rumble and not to bad on the inside. but man it was loud drivin about thirty min. to the shop w/ nothing on it all i had was about an inch before the cat started and up i was settin off car alarms and everything. well now that i think about it what r some decent tips i could put on it i saw some borla tips in jegs but the were like 30 or 40 bucks a piece r all of them this expensive and how much do they change the sound because i dont wanna sound like a fart cannon!!!!

Tips normally just make your exhaust have a slightly deeper tone, if they are larger than the rest of the pipe. I've got shortys, custom H, dual 1 chamber flows, and 3 1/2" tips on my truck and it sounds wicked as hell. Very loud but still has a really nice tone.

Its got the great big badass 200 straight six right now. Still building my 351w. I was gonna get crazy with it but I decided I'd rather drive it so I'm just goin hydro roller, 10:1, AFR 185's, RPM Air-Gap or Vic Jr. not sure yet and a 650cfm Speed Demon. Expecting a little over 400rwhp and low 11's @ mid 120's in the 1/4.

i think a 351 is a ford engine. they probably both can handle the same power. chevy 350 is the most popular engine ever made, so you should go with that

There is no realistic maximum power for any engine. Only the point where the penny stops. You can take a 351w up to 427ci and go FI + n2o and drop cylinders thrue a 1/4 mile like the big nhra ihra boys do. Just depends on your pocket and your wishes.

To the point of there is no limit of horsepower if you have the money...here is a TRUE story
My dad use to work in a shop in Detroit Michigan, they made some high performance engines and parts and stuff like that, they made a 1,000 (yes one thousand) horsepower 4cyl engine, if i remember right, it was for olds...although they had millions in it...they did it...the oil even had to be heated before it could be started...but there is a story that is true that says HORSEPOWER HAS NO LIMIT...and this happend over 10 years ago...now we live in kansas though...(and farm)...lol...mechanical enginer and now he farms...lol....but there is a true story...just thought i would share that
