1995 door indicator doesn't go off

Recently parking brake light and the door open chime will not go off. The brake light comes on at start. and the door chime starts chiming fast, when i start driving. it remains on, after i put it in park again.

Apparently it isn' the door chime, it's the no brake fluid chime. My master cylinder is leaking and needs to be replaced. If I only had the book, I probably could have figured this out fast.
