I need to replace my driver side window motor and have never done ne kind of work like this. I plan on following this page http://members.tripod.com/sparkplugs/wmotor.htm
but I have a couple questions about it.

he says remove the bolts and the window will fall down, is this ok? I've read you should tape it up or use something to keep it from falling.

also ive read that you should take out the regulator arms

just wondering what else i need to do in addition to wat that sites says or maybe a better tutorial on how to do this. Thanks.

those directions are pretty good... i suggest that you don't use tape to hold the window up, its safer to use wood or something solid like that, to wedge between the bottom of the door and window just enough to hold it up not so it puts to much pressure on the glass. as for the regulator arms just inspect them for wear and tare.. good luck...

omg, so now my passenger side window doesnt work with passenger side switch, only with driver side switch. You think both are maybe switch related then?
