Sometimes I feel like the oldest guy modding a 4g

I turn 24 next monday, and reading the posting in here, quite often I feel really old. Say it ain't so.

Ya, Sentanta is an old man. I'm 23 and I'll probably still be modding my 4G for at least another 2 or 3 years.

If it doesn't rust right out, I want to be driving my 4G when its 20 years old. I just love it.

I want mid 13s all motor on street tires, then it will be fun enough.

i got an uncle with a 91 crx with an ls turbo swap, he bought the car brand new and fell in love wit it has had so many offers to buyit from him but he doesnt ever want to let it go! its so funny the car is completely stock on the outside! he's 52 by the way.

I am 33 and I can't stop with the dam cars! My 91 seems to be an ongoing project tho. It was broken into twice now, and the second time they tried to steal the car. So it's rebuild time AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im 22 and ive owned 6 EDs/EFs since i was 17. started with the red hatch with INCUBUS on the windshield, totalled that, got a CRX with a b16 that was already totalled and took everything i could from it. then got a blue 90 hatch, drove that for a while and then gave it to my sister. then got another blue hatch, an 88, and its my current project. then i bought another hatch for parts, stripped it and junked the shell. and finally bought my current daily driver, a blue 91 DX hatch, dropped a motor in it, and am just cruising until i finish the 88

That's all cause that our 4g's are cheap and make good first cars for both school and street racers. I'm pretty sure that once 2005 hit's here soon, the 5g civic will be 10 year's old and will surely overtake the 4g.

Alot of young people get 4gs bc theyre light and we really dont have the money to mod em too much (taking me forever to do anything and im out of school and working full time) Im 18 and loving it.

Definatly. 4gs are great for young people like myself (17). They are light, Si's are fast right out of the box, best looking Civic ever made IMO, and have a huge aftermarket of cheap parts... But at the same time my dad loves the car almost as much as me and he's 44.

Hey guys, I am glad you still remember me! I have been really out of it for a while. I can't seem to catch a break lately. I am in the prosess of rebuilding my EF. I was so close to selling it, REAL close. I finally came to the realization that I cant' part with it. I really love that car.
I am going to be on here more often now. I started a new job last year, and it's a "desk" job. I am a technical support engineer for JENSEN, CODE ALARM, CIRCUIT CITY road shops, FORD & CHRYSLER factory remote start and security systems. The parent company of these systems is AUDIOVOX ELECTRONICS. It is a great company. Well I will see you in the threads! Glad to be back!

I was just chatting with my buddy and very likely will have a cheap beater vehicle to drive this winter while I have my baby in my garage to do that swap and some of the other stuff I have been planning...for like years now :lol:
