Alpine CDA-9833 DOESN'T WORK

hey guys.. i just sold my 860 a lil bit ago.. and i bought a 9833.. now the 9833 is the 3rd head unit i've installed.. the 2nd alpine.. and it doesn't turn on!!! i plugged in the power / ground / illumination / ignition which are the yellow/black/red/orange.. and i doing something wrong? it doesn't turn on or anything.. no clicks beeps nothing at all.. incase im doing something wrong can someone let me know?

o yea i also pressed the reset button

also incase it is a dead head unit.. can i get anything covered under the warranty? thx

nvm i got it.. when the head unit wasn't there i left the harness untaped.. the power and ground touched eachother too much and 2 fuses blew in the fusebox

Heh it is the little things like that, that can drive ya nuts.

yep, and when the fuse blew, the unit looked at that as being taken out ... so it activated it's anti-theft stuff
