Without a doubt. Although it doesn't quite have the performance numbers of the F50, this car hauled!
It's got a Twin-Turbo V8 putting out 478 hp and 425 ft/lbs!
Have you ever heard one? I've heard recordings, and...well..."nobody does rip and snort like Ferrari"

The performance stats were very similar.
F40 stats from September 1991 Road & Track:
O - 60: 3.9 sec
0 - 100: 7.7 sec
¼ mile: 11.7 @ 126.5 mph
Top speed: 196.1 (another magazine tested it to 201 mph)
Suggested price: $395,000
Not sure about the F50, but there is no way it can be much quicker than that.

Well, the F50 gets to 60 in 3.6 seconds and Ferrari claims a top speed of 202 mph.

It's the greatest ferrari of all time, when people think ferrari, they see F40 in their minds

It may be the greatest Ferrari of all time...that's debatable. But, when I see a ferrari I see a V12 up front. Like a 250GTO of a 550. Those are both classic Ferrari.

that's the other one, i'm pretty sure most people.... that don't know a huge amount about cars, the ferrari's they think of would be 250GTO and F40
but they'd prob now recent cars too

The 250 GTO will always be the best in my mind. Nothing touches it.

That's true. When I was younger, when someone mentioned Ferrari, I immediately see a F40 in my mind. I guess that's because my first ever die-cast model was a F40.....gone to scrapped though, a shame....

Well, the F40 was good, but not that good. When i think Ferrari I think red.

Whenever I think Ferrari, I think Red also and a F50, only because people talk about how great it is. The F40 kicks more ass though I think it was around before Enzo died. If so that's probably why the Value will continuely go up. I saw an ad in Dupont Registry for an guy who kept his F40 in his Living Room for 7 years.

When I was a kid, the Ferrari I pictured when I thought of a Ferrari was the Testarossa. Now I find it plain and boring compared to contemporary Ferraris like the 360, 550, and classic supercar models like the F40.

I just have to say that the F40 is the sexiest thing on earth... in car form. :frog:
Also, I think when most people think Ferrari the name Testerossa comes to mind... but they are probably imagining a picture of an F40. Either that or they have Ferris Beuller flashbacks like me.
