Battery Terminals/Wires

Hey does anyone know where i can get new battery wire? it says on the new high amp Alt. I just got, it says i should get a bigger battery wire. They said 4 ga. and i dont know how to put them in if anyone does know where to find them.

your factory battery cable is 4ga. IF you mean the alternator wire, you can buy bulk 4ga wire at a hardware store and re-wire it yourself, but unless your alternator is 140a or higher, 4ga wire is overkill

Hardware store wire is solid core=NO good for automotive use. You will need a braded wire for flexability. You can get the proper wire at most auto parts stores. Good Luck.
