I have the Haynes manual, and it's pretty complete. I have never checked on the other one... I do know that the Haynes has full wire diagrams (minus the speaker wiring), and also has full tear downs and re-builds. So... I would say keep asking. ;)

You have to remove your bumper to remove your light??? I guess I don't understand that since all I had to do on my 87 was unbolt the glass housing...

Wow... If you have the $56+ go for it. I just know that the Haynes manual isn't that bad... And only $16 at Auto Zone...

both have usefull information, but the helms is definatly superior. If you dont have the cash you can download it here : http://texas.clubsi.com/brandon/crx/frame2.htm
Or you can read it online here : http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual/2gsm/default.htm

Chilton is the best but hard to come by cause I haven't seen another one. I bought it for like $26 I think and It's the best since I have both the helms and haynes. Look at your local bookstore cause I found mine at Barnes and Nobles.
Haynes is crap. Take my word!

What if you have a motor swap in your car, doesn't that manual tell you everything wrong?

yo, chilton all the way. they have super detailed instructions and information and good diagrams. to remove ur headlights you gotta remove ur front bumper.....its a one man job. then u gotta remove the metal filler piece under ur headlights....i think there are a few 10 mm bolts u gotta remove. then u can take off the headlights.....i think there are two 10 mm bolts under it where the filler piece used to cover up and there are two 10 mm bolts on top. i hope i didnt respond too late.

so with that filler peice will i have to remove to replace my HL. if i do cant i just remove the filler piece rather than the bumper? also how many bolts are there lol

you have to take your bumper off first - two bolts behind bumper lights on each side, two screws in fenderwells. Once you take it all out it wont just fall off you have to lift up on it a little and it will come off, has little hooks that keep it on so its easyer to bolt up and stuff.
Then you will need to remove the side marker lights, two screws and they ever so gently slide out (more than likely jerking will be involved).
Then remove the filler piece, it has about 6 bolts I believe.
Then remove the headlight.
