t56 question(yes again)

well i just got my t56... its on its way.. now i was wondering where is the mph/odometer thing at?? is it that plug towards the rear of it?

I dont know which is which but IM pretty sure one is for the speedo and the other is that lame thing that makes you skip gears if your not on the car very hard to save gas.

it should be toward the rear, drivers side, some are mechanical and some are electronic.

i got my brothers 82 trans am running this morning, we put that lt1 and the 6 speed in it. it was hard as hell to do. but this will tell you what you need to know about calibrating the speedo, but you may not have to. you may have to order a part to convert it over to cable, it is $300 so my little brothers trans am wont have a speedo. anyway here is the link

yeah but he is putting it in a 1985 camaro it uses cable

its the one in the back, the one up front is the skip shift solenoid like Dober said
