weird noise

Hey, in my 99 RS, when I turn my AC on at about half power, or if I just leave the car running for a while with the AC on, I start to hear like a high pitched squeeling noise. It sounds kinda like a belt or something. I've been to a few places to find out what it was. Some say its the condenser, some say its a belt, and some say just turn my system up loud so I dont hear the noise. Also, there isn't anything wrong with the AC, it is freezing cold. It just makes noises. Anyone else have this problem or atleast know what it is? :banghead:

yea its normal...i wouldnt worry about....i have about 7 different noises from my whole car...

lmao... no thats not normal! your belts probably loose, tighten it~

its either a loose belt or usally the clutch going bad on the ac pulley itself.

well, i did get the belt tightened. didnt work. so i got a brand new belt put on, didnt work but makes a cool sound when i rev :iceslolan . i was told by 1 guy it might be the condenser, but no1 really knows and the sound is really annoying lol
