Keyless Remote Entry - Panic Button - 99 Cherokee

Anyone out there know how to disengage the Panic Button ability on the keyless remote entry device (key chain) - I'm constantly hitting it in error and it's driving my wife and neighbors nuts. I still want to use it for the door locks, just don't need the panic button.

SIMPLE--I've done it!!!

#1. Pop your remote apart.
#2. Pull out the circuit board
#3. Remove the rubber button pads
#4. On the printed circuit board: Put a piece of scotch tape over the 4th contact pad (on the far bottom of the remote).
#5. Reassemble


PANIC BUTTON DISABLED!!
