I read the new issue of Motor Trend and found the article in which they test the Sti with the new Evo MR very insitive. At the end of that article I read the section in which they discussed both the European EVO FQ340 and the new Impreza WR1. What amazing machines!! The only thing I was dissapointed about on both vehicles was the price range. 60k for the FQ340 and 55K for the WR1, that is alot of money. I was wondering since Subaru HAS to answer to this new insurgency of EVO's coming out are there plans of bringing this WR1 or something similar to the States (and hopefully a little less expenisve too)?

The WR1 has been around for a while, it's a special edition Impreza prepared by Prodrive in the UK and ONLY available to the UK market.

The Brits get all the cool stuff, man... They have the WR1, they had the P2, they had a lot of cool old-school stuff that I don't know the names of because I wasn't paying attention to British sales stuff until I bought my Subaru.
