Hey guys, i need some questions answered...

Guys...... i have this sickkkkk deal i wanna get but i dont know if it will pass smog....

this is the crx im going to get

Its a 1988 CRX DX w/ zc motor swap

Engine:
-DOHC 1.6 ZC Mild port and polish, 3 angle valve with radius, head milled .050 6k miles on engine since swap earlier this year. New timing belt, head gasket, water pump.
-AEM Cam Gears
-AEM Cold-air intake (will take off and put stock on for smog)
-DC Headers
-Custom Exhaust (sounds sick!)
-JG Throttle body and matched manifold
-B&M Fuel Pump
-MSD Ignition

Tranny:
-ZC Tranny rebuilt with usdm Si final drive (4.25)
-All new synchros
-ACT Street clutch with ACT lightened flywheel
-Equal length integra axles
-Skunk2 Short shifter with skunk2 nob

Brakes/Suspension:
-1992 integra front/rear disc brakes/suspension
-Integra Master cylinder, brake booster, and prop valve
-Hawk street pads and motul brake fluid
-Koni sport yellow fully adjustable struts
-Neuspeed race springs
-Suspension techniques sway bars
-Full polyurathane bushing kit
-Front/rear strut tower braces
-15'' konig tuners with new yokohama avs 195/50/15

Interior:
-Del sol seats with red stripe
-Autometer shift light.

so...... lol.... will this pass smog? if not.... what should i do? what would be the best thing to do to make it pass smog if it doesnt... and oh yes... i live in california..

I bet the throttle body is going to fuck you over. Just do a good tune up before you try to smog it. Maby some others can be more specific, I dont know first hand as we dont have smog here.

this is a pretty sweet deal though... all that for only 2k... not bad!

Take it anywazs even if it wont at 2 grand you can make more off of it then that to someone on autotrader or something...

Just give it a good tune and try using some of that fuel shit that claims to aid passing smog/emissions.

Its a sweet deal but you know the saying, if it looks like a race car it was probably driven like a race car.

check the O2 sensor and Cat/converter for sure, those may need replacing, it there new then put the stock air box on and take it in and see if its gonna pass or not, if it doesnt, then sell it to me for 200 bucks :)

or you can add another cat if you can get away with it ;)
