nismo 270R? Anymore info on this? It says inline 4. and if I know nismo the number means hp, not displacement.

It has a 270 hp sr20det that has nismo cams, larger intercooler, new exhaust mani & cpu. The clutch, drive shaft, springs, suspension bushings, and motor mounts have been "upgraded". O yea and new aero parts.

do you know how fast it is?

about as fast as any other 240sx, 180sx, 200sx, or Silvia with 270hp to the flywheel....

its probably pretty damn quick as it was tuned by nismo...but its nothing that you personally cant do with a sr20det that you swap and tune yourself....basically what sr20det power has said.

yeah man, my dream car. with some nice advans and new suspension, it would be heaven.....

im not a big high power guy....simple is nice

well actually i was reading an article on this car i remember i was asking about this car 2. the engine is actually a sr22det. they added a 2.2liter of something but i cant remember.

Probably a stroker kit, I know HKS, Toda and Tomei make them, maybe Greddy (Trust) to.

Ive seen stroker kit prices by Crower and on their site they just said it was the for "4cyl" and it was 4g's the daym kit!!! i dont know if its a waste but both engines produce lots of torque for 4 bangers(both sr and ka that is)

hmm 50 more hp with just a stroker kit to 2.2 ....hmm... that doesnt sounds that right... also nismo never had a stroker kit so oviously the car doesnt have a stroker in it...

yeah my car gets beat up alot. mostly by guard rails....fuckin bullies. always pickin on my poor shitty s14.

I have never understood spending 5-8k on a stroker kit for the SR. Supposedly you can go 2.4l with sleeves and still turbo. Then you have the equvalent of a KA-T with the price tag of a RB26 swap.

with KA you have to replace the interals early on... and there is a 2.5l stroker kit... i have seen a 2.2l kit on an SR in florida and compared to before the guy was running from 390hp to the crank to 450hp!!
