2003 Taurus SES

I have a 03 Ford Taurus SES that's in the shop for the second time in a month. This car is the biggest piece of junk and I regret buying it. It only has 22k miles and was in the shop (for 6 days) because it needed a new transmission. What car needs a new transmission at 22k miles? I went to pick up my son today and the it wouldn't start. Some say it's the starter and other say it's the battery. The dealership was certaintly eager to make the sale. Now they act like I'm inconviencing THEM to have it towed back for the second time. I hate the car, the dealership sucks and the service advisor is rude. Apparently, one can't get a rental car either. Well, unless they have a penis that is. I called for a rental car and none were available. My boyfriend calls the District Manager and one suddenly becomes available. I will NEVER own another Ford again. Very unreliable. I want to get rid of it, but I bought it 5 months ago. I'm going to lose money if I try to traid it in. I kick myself for not getting a Camry or Accord. The only thing good about the car is the color.
This is the first car I bought myself and so far it's turning out to be a bad experience. :banghead:

and to whine a little...Why shouldn't I whine? I have a newish car that's a big piece of junk. I'm paying to drive a huge POJ. I think other people need to know what they are buying before making the committment. I wish I had.

Jamunt,
When you get that dream car that you don't have to take care of and is trouble free, post us back about it.

unfortunately, it doesn't matter which brand of car you buy you're going to get the same crappy service. when making the sale they'll tell you whatever it takes to get you to buy it. but when things break they're going to drag their feet. i find that if you keep reminding them to fix your car you get faster service. they'll want to take care of you just to make you go away.

that is why my friends you want to find a gooid dealer to purchase from that has good service. If not you find one that DOES. As far as the car is conserned normally ford makes an excellent product and unfortunatly you got a dud. We had a 92 Aerostar with no problem EVER. and a 2000 taurus but that has a problem at the moment but is a great car. For the time being I am driving a 1979 Olds Cutlass now that is a POJ. Would be fine if it had a 8 cyl engine but yeh well.

JAMUNT,

I believe you are getting hammered here because this is the Ford Taurus site and we mostly come here to try and see what other people are doing and what common problems we are having and we try to help each other out. I am on my third Taurus and I really like them.

You didn't come on here and ask for help on trying to resolve your problem or any tricks we might know on how to handle the dealership.

What I heard is you have a piece of shit car and no penis.

Sorry about that, I could probably help you out on where to start at the Dealership but I need to keep my penis.

ROFL,

I'm sorry you feel this way about your Taurus JAMUNT, but I must agree this is a help forum and not the complaint department. We've seen a couple of posts go bad here due to people with problems that directed their anger towards other forum members instead of their dealers or mechanics. I know it's agravating when your dealer screws you over. If you where looking for a way to handle your situation with your dealer there might be someone on this forum that can help you, but you need to ask. Hope your problem gets solved.

Denis
