Hows this drop sound?

i have 1996 integra with 17" rims w/ a 40 series tire. would a 2.25 inch drop be too much? i was doing some measuring and it seems like it might rub. what do you all think?

You shouldn't rub with those wheels.

i had 2.5s with the same rims and i was fine.

i have the same size rims and tires, i also have the neuspeed race springs (2.5 drop) that had settled to about a 3" drop and my tires have not rubbed yet.
