how many splines on axle?

hey everybody. i have a question, my right cv joint is shot and i need a new right axle. the question is tho...how many splines go into the rotor...23 or 26? i have a 91 standard. thanks

std's and hf's have 23. Ex's have 26. Correct if I'm wrong.

yea, cus i went to autozone and the dude asked what engine and i said 1.5 L dpfi. and the dude was like "alrite, how many splines going into the rotor?" and i was like "oh crap" cus i didnt know.....i didnt know there could be 23 or 26. i guess i forgot about the 4d's.

4sp = 23 splines, 5sp = 26 splines, it is that easy doesnt matter what year it is.
