Ok i have a question to everyone. Ok its all on my situation...i have no job but about to get one just waitin on the call...i dont have much money right now and im in college...so heres the question, would you keep the 88 4dr and fix it up (engine, exhaust, wheels, body kit, paint job for about 5000) or just try and sell it and save up enough money to buy something new?

It all depends on what you want, man. Do you have another car to drag yourself around? Is there anything wrong with the 88 4-door? If not, then you should drive it until you save up enough money to play with and then decide. Hell, I almost decided to get rid of my CRX and all it needed was a dizzy. Yeah my car isn't too pretty and could use some body work, at least a paint job IMO, but it's my car, has a stereo and gets about 30+ mpg even though it's probably filled with water right about now... ugh. Think on it, dude...

Well this is the only car i got right now and the body and everything is good except the motor so i was gonna do a swap in it so then everythhing would be good. but all the stuff i wanna do is only gonna cost about 5000.

keep it as is...don't sell it right now cause u'll regret it...just keep it until u find something new...save up some money and use the car as a trade in or if itz in good condition...u can sell it for like $1500

crash that piece of shit and walk away.

heh sorry. Its your car, your choise, personally I dont care much for 4g4d but thats just me. You could do what I'm doing, fixing mine up, enjoying it while its here, then selling it and getting something else and staring the process all over again. With me its a never ending cycle.

Well, when I got my civic hatch, it was a base so it had bearly nothing on it and I was pissed cause I really wanted a car that had air, etc. But I've been stuck with it for a year now and I still hate it but it's a honda and thats why I still have mine.

Once I save a little money up, I'll eventually get a 5th gen ex which will be like going from nothing to alot of something. Hooray for me!

I'd atleast keep the 4 door for a daily driver. save up some cash and buy something else decent and do a swap.
