You will need to drop the splash pan if you have one. The idler arm is mounted on the passenger side frame rail and the arm is bolted in the center link. There should be 4 bolts that hold the idler arm to the frame and a nut that holds the ball joint of the arm to the center link. The bolts are maybe 16 or 17mm (if I remember correctly) and you will need dikes to remove the cotter pin from the castle nut holding the ball to the center link and a wrench the size of the castle nut (11/16?). And last but not least is a pickle fork to remove the ball from the center link. Good Luck!
