Turn signal problems

Okay so the other night I'm driving home. Make a left at the same ol' street, but this time my turn signal doesn't come on and neither will the right hand signal. I think to myself 'oh crap i blew a fuse'. So yesterday I check out the fuse block under the hood and no fuses are blown. I thought maybe some condensation had gotten into the lights and shorted it, but when I turn on my hazards...all the lights on the exterior of the truck come on, as well as the signals on the dash. So now I'm lost. (guess I better brush up on my hand signals) Anyone had a similiar problem or could maybe offer some advice? Thanks in advance

possibly the flasher unit under the dash....typically there are two flashers, one for the turn signals and a separate one for the hazzard circuits.

under the dash you say...around the steering column or cluster?

I think that the Hazard and turn signal flashers are in the Fuse panel in the door. I will check my 99' out for yah and let you know.
