Lifter noise ?

I have a 2001 Aero which seems to have a lifter noise which
is it the timing chain adjuster or do the lifters go bad?
The car has 110,000 miles on it. It has oil pressure ok.
When the car first starts up there is more noise once
the oil get up it is less but still there.
