hey im going to save up and buy one of these cars but i cant decide im thinkging covertable gst or awd gsx it would always be nice to see me beat someone with my top down but the awd would be real fun to drive so if u could help me choose it would help alot

you know the difference. we can't tell you what you want more. if you want to make more than 300hp, you'll complain about not having AWD.

yea i think everyone on this forum would choose a gsx....i wish i did, but i settled for second best gst....but be aware that it is extremely hard to find a gsx with your preference of color, low miles, and not modified.....at least it was for me!

AWD all the damn way. while its true they are hard to find without a lot of miles. there are plenty of 1G's (around here anyway) with no mods. for excellent prices. I know alot of tuners just like the 2g body better, I'm one of them but ,turbo awd for around $1500. sign me up

ACTUALLY depends on what you want. A GS-T spyder with an LSD can put down sizeable power without going all over the track, and makes a nice cruiser with good speed... if you want to race race race, then ofcourse a GSX... here in CA a spyder is a nice thing to have, thats why i didnt trade my GS spyder for a GSX...

Yea, Shpyder is right. Go with what your instincts tell you you'll enjoy most. If you live in CA or FL or TX or someplace where it's nice for most of the year, and you want a drop top, go with the spyder. For me, if I'd found a spyder instead of a tsi awd with the mileage, condition, and price of my talon, I would have probably bought it instead.

If you're going to go fwd, a spyder is not a bad way to do it!:D

Better at what? You people aren't specific. It's better at TRACTION, which would probably be better in the winter, I think.

dont know what highway speed your talking about but my gsx eats gst's daily here in south fl. if you want a nice car to go cruising get a convert gst... if you want a fast car all around but a gsx.

convert gst is nice and has the speed along with the coolness of having a convertable.

gsx is just damn fast ... off the line and on the highway. No GST owner who has driven a GSX will tell you to buy a GST over a GSX for performance.

GST convert is a good buy... GST coupe is waste of money when you could find a GSX on autotrader.com or cars.com for the same money and its just all around a better handling, faster car.

This is a really vague question. ;) 14 and 13g on first gens, T25 on second Gens. Lets see, some comon turbo upgrades are small 16g, big 16g, evo3 16g, tdo5h 20g, td06 20g, tdo6h 20g, 50 trim, 54 trim, 57 trim, 60 trim, 60-1, FP green, FP red, 3052, 3065, PTE SCMxxxxx, agp RS series, gt10, gt12, gt13, gt14, M50, M60, G50, G60. That should about cover it... :D

Forgot one :)

Once again, it's all about goals and budget for turbo choice. You can give us your goals or do a lot of reading here and dsmtuners.

I think he meant the stickies at the top of the page, not stickers. Anyways dont you think you should wait until you buy the car before you plan what to buy for it. Just a thought, good luck with the gs-t.

well first off he said dont forget a huge turbo decal.. those mean stickers to me.and secondly im not getting a gs-t only gsx.but no i dont need to get the car first then get parts cuz i like to buy a car and have shit waiting for it.cuz then its just easier cuz i normally go over the car for a month make sure everything is perfect.so while doing that i put shit on it.

makes sense. about the decals, it thought you were talkin about his other statment. My bad man.

Anyways good luck with the GSX! lol
