I just finished building this kit too, and I don't like it very much.
Didn't seem like the body parts fit together very well, and the engine cover wouldn't close all the way without my having to glue parts C3 & 4 on in the opposite direction from the instructions, which is incorrect as far as it being accurate to the real car.
The windshield had so much curvature to it that it had to flex quite a bit for the body to fit all the way down on the chassis. Maybe that problem was unique to this kit but you might want to check.
A few tips:
Remember you have to paint part of the side windows and parts A4 & 5 body color.
Paint the silver for the rear tail lights onto the back of the lenses not the rear grill where they fit because the surface they fit on is actually larger than the lense, found that out the hard way
Make sure you glue the small rear window that's inside the car in real good because it is also what holds the hinges for the rear engine cover. But don't get any glue on the hinge surfaces!
Don't put the window over the engine in until you see if the engine cover is going to close proplerly, that way if something is interfering with it you can better see it.

Here is some very minor update on the progress. I had to do something with those springs and shocks. I cut off the shocks and used wire and wire insulation (damper) and wire wrapped around a skewer(spring) http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/218022DSC01975-med.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/218022DSC01977-med.JPG Allso the rotors neede work so I drilled holes http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/218022DSC01980-med.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/218022DSC01982-med.JPG

Cool. There's a guy building a metal 1:10 version on here. He spent like 3 grand usd on the transkit. Your detail work is phenomenal, and the car looks killer.

you should try it in 1:43 :iceslolan I couldn't see for few days
The work on this one is realy fine, I like all of the washes, that is the way it should look. I hate when it is to clean, doesn't look real like yours. Very nice.

The carbon decals are the scale motorsports and are very good with a little micro sol,but what you see is what you get until I put on the doorcards and snap more shots.
