HS CAI Group Buy!!!!!! who wants em??

Hi guys been discussing with the Luke for a couple of days now for getting us a group buy deal on the HS CAIs....so if anyone wants them post here.....prices are

$190 usd shipped within the US and Canada I assume

for us europeans it would be about $40usd extra on the above price.
the price is still a very good one so if anyone is interested let us know.

i dont believe HS made a CAI for the P10, i assume with minor modification, the P11 CAI will fit the P10.

I just bought the JWT Pop Charger, and am putting it in tomorrow, if it comes in on time. My school's mail system is horrible. Will the Hotshot CAI need me to modify anything in my engine compartment (I heard you need a smaller battery). Does the JWT go on at the end? Or what? Sorry, I just don't fully understand intakes yet. I have a 2002 Sport by the way.

yeh, JWT will go on the Hotshot cai. there is a slight mod you have to do to make the cai fit...you just need to make the hole a little bigger where the cai pipe goes down to behind the fender..dont need a smaller battery.

I'll do one if the HS will fit the high port P10 and if you can use the JWT pop too :)

Sweet they do :)...now i wonder if the POP will fit on the end? Ahh and as an update hotshot told me the NS4001 is the one for the 93.5 if any of you out there need to know.

No the MAF is the air sensor on your car. Does your 93.5 have the high-port motor in it? Did hotshot say the NS4001 was for the high-port engine?

What all does the intake include? Is it just piping, or does it come with a filter?

Count me in IF I can get one for a 95 P10.

Callin Luke :) can U lets us know what the CAI kit would come with and what model cars you can get em for, or is it a case of, any car that is listed @ Hotshot.com (http://www.hotshot.com) can be supplied for. :)

All hotshot kits come with the piping and the filter

since this is a G20 forum, lets stick to the P10 and P11 as i can get HS CAI for both cars.
the GB deal can be a mixture of P10 and P11..as long as it reaches 10. It includes filter and piping and misc. clamps etc.
shipping it to Europe will be a total of $240, not $230 (i just double checked the price)

the kit i´ll will be getting with a primera gt is the NS 4003 right? (98-99 )
since the 99 g20 is the same as the 97-99 primera

If you look at the pdf illustration for Part # 40-NS4001 it says it's for 1993-1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R, NX 2000 and Infiniti G20 but it shows a high port in the pic. What about us Low port guys. No fear I emailed them lets see what they say.

I would be installing the CAI with the JWT POP stuck on the end in place of the Hotshot filter element. Can I just purchase the tubing and adapters(the stuff I will be using) and avoid having to pay for and sit on a filter element I won't be using?

P.S.: I know I've seen a How-To page on the net somewhere for this installation(HotShot CAI + JWT POP) but I can't find it with google. I'm pretty sure its on a AF members website. Anyone know where it is?

I'm afraid only Luke can answer that....

I'm currently working this out with Angie at HotShot. Looking at their installation instructions, it seems that the POP Charger could be installed in place of their aftermarket filter with an extra MAF adapter plate and an extra 3" x 3" coupler with hose clamps. I'll let you guys know what comes of this.;)

or you could sell your pop charger..........then you don't have to worry about wether Hotshot will sell you tubing only or not :)

i agree.....sell it... or keep it for wet spring days....

the HS CAI come in a box so I cant really sell them apart.
