I'm so new to cars and autos, and I dont know many things about 'em...
Yesterday I bought a STP car wash liquid, it says on the back that this liquid cleans the car and ads a waxed look...
If I want my car to look the best, should I wax it after washing the car with this liquid?

No. That product is actually just soap. And the idea behind it is that you'll get a waxed look without having to actually wax your car. Marketing scheme if you ask me but nonetheless, if you want the waxed look buy some real wax and wax after washing. Here is a link for additional info you might find useful:

Absolutely. There's nothing wrong with protecting your new car's finish unless it was freshly painted. If it was freshly painted then the solvents and such need time to evap out of the paint but seeing as it's a 2002 it probably has factory paint. Even then you've had it for 3 months now. Go ahead and do it. :)
