Hood locks eh?

Yea they keep your hood locked:silly2: J.K. I had a 68' GranPrix a few years back and had changed the hood for one with scoops on it. Buddy of mine fit it on for me and as a finishing touch as well to make sure that my custom hood stayed down we installed hood stays. The locks to me say custom, back off, and "i have so much power my hood will fly off" I liked 'em:smoker:

put em there to keep your engine safe from thieves... like when they pop the hood to disable your alarm... or try to mess with your engine it'll take them a little longer.

hey RR, thats a good idea...i thought the bonnet latches are only useful for CF or fibreglass bonnets so the bonnet wouldnt fly up and smash the windscreen if the factory latch fails (it does happen, ive seen it)
