I jsut got some 80w plazma xenon bulbs and would like to know what I can do to ensure that they don't damage my teg's wiring harness or any damage at all to the headlight area. Is there a kit that I should purchase that can fix this problem? Furthermore, does anyone know the wattage limit that the department of transportation allows? Thanks a bunch

Someone makes a kit for it but im not sure who. It helps with high wattage bulbs so they dont damage your wiring harness or the headlight housing itself.;)

You dont' need a kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been running 80 and 90 watt bulb since 98 when I got my EX.
My brother runs them in his Accord
My older brother has them on the family mini van.

...oh and about 300 cars (including tegs) run these bulbs here in Orlando on Saturday nights :)

The lens will get a little warm from the heat, but everything will be fine as long as you don't touch the glas of the bulb.

haha thanks for the reassurance. I guess I'll go w/o the harness unless something happens. but yeah thanks again.

I looked into the harnesses back in 98 or 98. They were over $100, so I was like f**k that!!
