problems with 2000 blazer #@$&%!

ho...k sho here is my main problem when i "gun" it the transmission won t shift into second gear oh by the way its an automatic ne ways so i let off the gas a little and it shifts well it does the same thing shifting into third the rpms just keep climbing but i m not going ne faster you know now for my few other miniscule problems the idiot light service eng soon thing is on i figure thats just the o2 sensor like 250-300 bucks right well the gas guage is not reading right it just kinda flopps around but the thing with the trans would either be a seal or the modulator? i m just kinda tossing up ideas i m not realy sure so please throw some other possibilitys my way i have also been trying to look on the net for how much this might run me :banghead: $$$ but thanks for ne help that is given

your trans might ahave a cloged valve cause my bros truck had the ssame thing happen to him in which case you would have to take it in and get it rebuilt and your gas gauge is probably jsut a bad ground.

Why are you "ASSUMING" what the check engine light is?
Sounds like you also have a bad sending unit.
Go to autozone and get the code read and come back here with the actual code and their description.

well idk where you live but I know this guy in Livonia who could prolly do it for bout 400 to 700

How about getting the tranny serviced with a new filter and fluid instead of an overhaul?

well see i m assuming that its the o2 sensor because i have tried to hook it upto the dyno and for some reason the dyno reads nothing from my truck and therefore i can get no code ok

Nope, the code is there.
Get a scanner and check the codes.
check engine light having nothing to do with a dyno air/fuel mixture exam.
Go to autozone and get the codes extracted.
