91' Wagon, How much more different is it?

I just bought a 91 honda accord wagon for $1200 with 150k miles on it. It runs great and it looks great for being 13 years old. What is the the difference mechanically with this car than the other 4drs and 2drs. I heard it had another kind of transmission. Is the f22a6 with 150k miles worth fixing up or should i start savin for an h22a. Why does the EX model accords have 140 hp and the dx and lx have 125hp?
