i've got 261,000 on my 91 civic lx.
runs smooth and quiet. burns about a quart of oil every 500-600 miles if i pretend i'm a rice boy. if i drive it lightly it uses a quart every 1,500 miles. it has the original tranny and clutch which still work fine.

Not really good at doing miles to kilometer conversions (or maybe I am just lazy) but highest I ever seen on a honda was 480,000 Km or something like that. The guy totalled the car just when he thought he'd see half a million Kms. However, the old Dodge that my dad's anal retentive friend had just cleared 1 million Kms. He wrote to Dodge thinking he'd get something as a promotion or something and they said "Just be glad that you got 1 million Kms for the price of 200,000". On the other hand, I know how many motors, etc that car had been through to get there. Some old farts just won't let things die ......

My civic (pictured below) has 138k original miles and still on stock clutch. Not too bad when I paid $900 for her last year with 127k on her. All she needed was an exhaust and cv joint. I was so damn lucky!
